Default What is your Oil Pressure

How much oil pressure do you guys see on your H22?
In warm idle?
WOT?
Where do you have your gauge conneted?
And are you boosting?

warm idle - ~20psi
wot - 80psi
Guage connected at sender
JRSC @ 6psi

10 to 15 is ok, when at idel. As long as you have 50+ PSI when you are driving (3K RPM or more).

Here are some nubers I took of oil pressure a while ago.
Oil temp was at 210, and I'm using Amsiol 5w30.

RPM - Oil Pressure
700 - 25
1500 - 37
2500 - 50
3000 - 63
3500 - 75
4000 - 75
5000 - 75
6000 - 75
7000 - 75
7400 - 75

There' a rule-of-thumb that an engine should see at least 10lb oil pressure for every 1000 engine rpm.

yea, I heard that same rule....... I am using 5/30 and I have since almost 10psi but over 3k I do see 80psi.

i just installed my gauges ...
i usually sit at 10-15 psi warm and can see up to 80 when driving

i used to use 5/30..then i got my helms and it says 10/30 so i use that...one time(in band camp) i was low and i only had 10/40...it raised my pressure since it was thicker..might want to use 10/30...i get worried when its below 18 or so
