Default Greddy header question

Im about to purchase a Greddy 4-2-1 SS header for my 99 GS. i want to know your opinions on it?? Also im looking for a place to purchase so far i've found it for 310 plus shipping. anyone have any links or ideas?? Any advice would be greatly appriciated. Also im running a catback Apexi world sport exhaust. Would this header bolt right up to my stock cat? Thanks

I have owned that header for approx. 4 years now, no problems. Nice sound and decent gains. One suggestion however, i would also consider purchasing a highflow cat to go along with the header and exhaust. IT will make boths mods work well together.

good luck

make sure you don't want to go turbo/supercharge before doing this

ok so i went to order the header and i was talking to the sales person and he said that the greddy header is **** compared to the DC header. he said that he sells 10 DCs' to 1 greddy. Is this true? i did alot of searching and from what i found people where very happy with the greddy 4-2-1 1 piece ss on a LS motor. so that leaves me with this he recommended the DC 4-2-1 2 piece ceramic since thats all they make for the LS in the 4-2-1 header. What do you think should i stick with the Greddy or go for the DC. Thanks

HAHAHAHAHA!

IMO, he sells more DC's because they're cheaper and everyone likes a ride on the bandwagon... Greddy's are just as good and probably better.

I have a greddy header, I definately would take it anyday over a dc sports header. Ive had mine for 3+ years. for a mild setup this is a good header.
