Default HELP!!! Can't pass the sniffer test!!!!

Okay HT members, I need help with my smog. I got a 96 GSR with the Greddy turbo kit, FMIC, BOV, and a SKUNK2 intake manifold. I pass the visual portion of my smog check (thank goodness); however, I'm failing the emissions portion of the test. I have to bring my car to a Test Only Center and so far have tested twice. I've only failed in the HC portion of the test. Here are my results for both times I went:

1st attempt HC: Max Ave Meas
15mph 61 9 73
25mph 45 7 44

2nd attempt HC: Max Ave Meas
15mph 61 9 98
25mph 45 7 60

After my first attempt, I went ahead and changed my spark plugs, my oil, fuel filter, and added some fuel additives to clean out my fuel system. Well, based on my second attempt, it didn't work. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do??? I am using the Greddy blue box, but I think I'm running rich. Any suggestions will help. Thanks.

By the way, I did do a search on this topic, but I needed more advice than what was posted.

too many hydrocarbons might mean you cat is not working good enough, a new cat might help or one made for a more powerful engine, try leaning it out and upping the timing just be carefull

If your primary oxygen sensors are bad that will do it right there... check those.. if your check engine light is in see what codes your throwing...

Finally someone who I can relate to about emission problems. I have the same problem my HC are too high. I've treid everything and it either goes up like yours or goes down. But theres a lot of things thatcan contribute to high hydrocarbons
such as
Faulty PCv Valve or PCV chamber
Clogged PCv lines
Bad rings, or dirty rings valves etc.
evap canister
timing , ignition etc.
O2 sensor
Vacuum leak
and more.
Hope this helps you. I've tried many things, but wiithout success have failed. Try resetting your ecu and leaning out the mixture just a bit. And try getting a oil catch can. Sea foam the engine. Advance or retard the timing.

Why in the world would you think a higher octane gas would make a difference? Also, since he's got a GSR, he should be using premium anyway.
