Default Field v-tec and air fuel controller

I realize it's useless with i/h/e

but I've got some type R cams and adj cam gears now...
I've heard I should up the v-tech crossover point to 5500...

I can get the unit for $200 canadian (thats about $125 US)

Has anyone had this unit (or the V-AFC) with my mods?
Is it a worthwhile mod for $125??
or am I looking at only 2 or 3 HP gain?

I plan to get my car dyno tuned soon so I need to know if it's worth it to get the Field.

THANKS!
