vtec-afc is it just for show or will it help me go?
i was looking at the apex vtec-afc and other vtec and fuel controllers are they worth buying? they seem to be a good thing but i need some reviews from experenced people. i don't really want to go drop $400 or so on a pos. thanks!

Honestly, if you don't know how to tune the VAFC, and are not planning on dyno tuning your car, it is a waste of money, just visual appeal. After tuning my cam gears, and adjusting my fuel pressure, my tuner pulled an additional 9hp, 3lbs of tq from my motor, on the dyno, as well as "smoothing out" the curve. Also, 400 is way too much for a VAFC, keep shopping until you find it cheaper somewhere.

thanks for the info. i thought that the v-afc just automatically tuned your fuel map. but if it doesn't then i see no real need to buy it since i really don't have any idea about how to tune my fuel map. thanks for the info on your hp gains thats really helpful!
