Hey guys, I’ve got a complicated issue.
I bought this car last year, and when I picked it up it ran alright, but was throwing p1399 and misfire for cylinder 1 and three. I took it out for a second drive, and it started bucking and died. It would turn on again if I waited a little bit. I got it home, and it starting showing all signs of IACV issues. I cleaned it well, then ended up replacing it recently. The issue got progressively worse as time went on, it would idle high, then low, then die with any throttle. I have replaced the coil, iacv, rotor and cap, main relay, fuel pump and a plethora of things that I can’t even remember. Just last week, whenever I tried to start it, it would take a while to crank and run, then would run for 5 seconds and die. I can’t get it to run past that. I did a wet compression test and got 50,52,75,25. Im stumped at whether I did the compression test wrong or there is another issue. I took the ecu fuse out, cranked with full throttle and all plugs out. Timing issue? Rings?
