Honda Accord 1996 Engine Swap
So I'm thinking about swapping my engine here soon and I've been looking into inexpensive yet power engines and I wanted to get some feedback on what I should do. I know my engine is going to die out on me soon so. Is its possible to do a b20b swap, or is there something better that would but quite inexpensive to swap it with but still make it fast?

Cheap
Fast
Reliable
You can only pick 2,
Cheap and fast = Not reliable
Fast and reliable = Not cheap
Cheap and reliable = Not fast
In saying this, your cheapest swap for added HP would probably be an F23. If you start getting into doing F20B or H22/H23 swaps they start costing money for mounts and basic maintenance upgrades.
What is your budget?

No point in trying to custom fab a B swap into an Accord when we have better options right out of the box. F23 is a stout engine but is limited by the single cam and economy conscious design. Minimal gains over the stock F22. I typically recommend the JDM H23A swap for a starting point since it's a relatively easy swap and a great performer. You get a lot of bang for your buck.
