So "Performance 1320" is another copy cat company that can't create anything on their own.

They're just a nicer version of PLM IMO. Everything is the same.

Support the originators or kill innnovation, kind of why I went with QSD everything. Could snag a KS tensioner though. Which Performance 1320 copied.

I'm also looking into this right now... Looks like using the QSD or Innovative relocating bracket would require the removal of the AC compressor since that's the location it's going into...

Someone let me know if there's any way around this to retain AC, but I can't imagine so with those implications.

You can run the alternator in the upper location. You can use a custom bracket, a D series alternator, use a single pulley harmonic balancer (H23 BT/ EuroR), and delete the inner gear for the balance shafts. This will get you farther away from the frame, and leave the lower mount in place. Here is the problem, depending on the chases there is almost certainly not enough clearance to run an AC compressor even with custom brackets. The only way to do it would likely require some modification of the frame and possibly running an alternative compressor and custom lines to correspond with that. With a custom homemade bracket, I came very close close to fitting AC in my CRX, with the stock CRX AC compressor but didn't quite get there. I was less than an inch away, but that was with ZERO clearance at that point... so maybe like 2.5 inches away in reality. With about 20 more hours of work, I could probably get there but I'm not doing that. Good luck.

Anyone here not running a heater core on EK h2b swap?
If so do the hoses on the block get re-routed?
And how so?

Yep. You can use the auto parts store barbed fitting with screw clamps to loop them. I had done this a while back but ended up just getting on long hose that connects the two ports. Not perfect but it gets the job done and is reversible.

Is anyone using whitfield header on a crx or ef, what's clearance like or what needs to be done to make it work?

On the website they mentioned some spacers for the Innovative traction bar. You can also search RMF, that should be similar.

How does the S2K pulley clear the frame rail? How did you set ignition timing?

I would go with the H22a4 belt, ESP has been working on or around H23's for a while.

Hey guys, got a quick question: I recently tuned the car and it only made 130whp. The tuner said it was due to the motor having automatic cams. Any truth behind that?

The mods are skunk2 IM, PLM header, 3” crush bend exhaust, rdx injectors, and a whale ***** intake.

TIA

It was on a dynapack. I would have expected over 200whp, but after tune it made 133whp, and 134tq. The baseline was 107.

Automatic cams made you down 70hp, that seems like a lot. Did VTEC even engage? Have you checked timing?

That was kinda my thought as well. It really almost seemed like it didn’t engage at all! I’ll have to inquire about timing. Honestly, I wasn’t even there, I was at work. Gonna do a compression test as well. If the motor is trash I don’t replacing it, just want good numbers. A lot has changed since I last built a Honda. I feel like I have so much to learn since I’ve been gone from the Vtec world for awhile. Thanks for your replies.

The season is approaching!! Where's everyone at?! How are the builds coming? I'm waiting on my tax returns (two years worth!) to purchase a trailer and get two tunes on my h2b. Gonna put in larger injectors and retune for pump, as well as M5 for the track. Gonna have to wait on the head work until next season

I wasn't really planning on going h2b, but a friend is giving me an f23, so I'm going to try a g23 build and see how that goes.
