Linh, why you getting rid of the header? I'm going to go with a Whitfield as well. I was really curious to see what HP you made as I'm K2H as well. Is there a coating on that? The pics on their page look like all their headers are in a raw metal finished product. Kinda leaving it up to the buyer to coat it.....idk.

^ Linh never ran the car with it. Base price starts at 699, coating and others will be extra obviously.

I would like to go k24/k20 if I can part my motor out. If you put in an order it will come just like the picture. You have to send it out to get coated. I have mines ceramic coated with copper coating in the inside. I'm not really sure if it makes a difference but I didn't want it to drive around with the header not coated.

When I had talked to Jason he was using RMF jigs. So this is pretty much a rmf header.

How long ago was it you bought these?

I couldn't imagine him using anything besides those jigs, amiright?

I wouldn't wanna roll around with that header uncoated either. How much extra did the coatings run you? Bently, I was pretty much planning on that 700 starting price.....owie, lol.

I bought it about 5 years ago but I ended up moving to Florida. Lost interest in cars.

Send him an email ask him. I ended up paying 170 to get it coated. You can buy mines haha

This place is dead.

Fuel line and filter installed. Vise with a rag and box wrench is so much better than adjustable wrenches.

1991- thanks man, it is easier and cheaper than it seems. I bought the pieces at Speedfactory and Kevin saved me on a fitting.

Love that fuel line Bently. Your line runs into the firewall like that, stock?

I'm looking at getting some of the hoses I need for my fuel setup. I'm going to run an inline filter, discretely mounted on the firewall. I want to get rid of that huge stock filter, ugly. Seem like it would be more appropriate to get the swap in and take measurements for line lengths, or could/should I just measure my OEM lines on my D series and make an educated guess on length?

Yeah, this place is pretty vacant. There's still a few of us that poke around though!

I removed the stock filter setup and installed the split motorsport adapter, then put the ktuned on the rail and both fittings on loosely, pretty much eye balled how much hose to cut keeping in mind the clearance for fan switch sensor, also had to turn the coolant fitting, use a punch and a small amount of heat from a propane torch. Otherwise the 90° fitting and coolant fitting would have been fighting for space.

Honestly I think best way is to get the pieces and assemble when the engine is in. Its not exact science type measurement.

Ah, I see that now. Man, that is a tight fit! And yeah I've been beatin around the bush on stuff to buy today for fuel. I think I'll just order an overkill amount of hose, just to be safe. I gotta cut my hardline and flare it when I pull my D16 out, and I'll probably cut it down low, so I'll use a lot more hose. Got do some internet educating and learn more about fittings and stuff. Fuel line is typically -6AN right?

With the adapter in link below there is no cutting the factory line. I ordered it through ebay though from same company. Saves extra pieces and cuts some cost.

Does that connect where the hard line runs into the fuel filter?

Looks pretty tight, my teg will have to be different. The fuel line does not come out of the firewall, unless you hid it that way?
