Damn, no messing around!
Just curious, did you do anything with the fan assembly, heater core etc while the car was apart? I know how much junk was in my wife's low mileage RSX the first time I pulled the cabin air filter, so I wondered how many people go to the point of cleaning the air ducts when they do a newer car to this level. The old Euro cars I worked on, if we were going to this level we removed and cleaned or replaced all of that stuff as well.

FYI....The adhesive on the plastic door panel liners is supposed to go all the way around so that water is directed into the door shell which has drain holes at the bottom rather than leaking out between the shell and the panel. Butyl rope works very well for this as it sticks well and is easy to remove without ripping stuff later on if you need to. Lowes sells a giant roll of it for like $6.

more importantly if he took it off he would have seen that the original sealer goes all the way around and that would be the best way to go with the new stuff.

OO nice Honda garage!
I was just thinking yesterday a new set of head lights will be needed for my exterior restoration. (Collecting parts for a full restoration one day).
Do you recall how much the OEM head lights were?

Silver Gs-R, stockpiling All the parts. There'll be none left for the rest of us
*jealous* Gorgeous car and amazing attention to detail build. Surely going to be one of the very best CANDM R's when finished. Kudos.
