Default 95 civic DX/D15B7 Cel#9

After much research into this particular issue, I found much information on diagnosing the problem itself BUT!!!!! My particular problem is this code is intermittent. Sometimes I will be driving and then come to a stop, the engine stumbles for a second and CEL comes on. I test it and Boom.. 9 blinks. Ok so I shut the car off, start it back up and the CEL will be off and the car runs as if nothing happened. The light will then not come on for several days, or it will come on a couple times a day (and I still cycle the engine off then on and light goes out, car runs fine) then it will go back into hiding. The CEL will reset and car will run fine when I shut off the engine every time. Why would THIS occur?

Disconnect the distributor connector (C107), ECU connector B, and C213/C102. Inspect the 2 CYL sensor pins in each connector for corrosion, damage, or looseness. When done, seal connectors with dielectric grease, reconnect, and ensure that each is fully seated. If you're lucky, it's just a poor connection between pins.

Is it actually possible a poor connection could cause such a totally random fault?

You can infer that from my post.

I suppose it was more a question of disbelief rather than questioning the cause. I would imagine a loose electrical connection would cause it to fault 100% of the time rather than whenever it felt like it, BUT I imagine a flickering light and think, "Ah, ok.." I will check at first light tomorrow morning and report back!

Well, I applied the solution here and since then, no more CEL. Given it has only been 5 days though, I am still within its "normal" abnormal operation lol
I shall just continue to monitor and be glad the light hasn't pestered me lately.
