95 Civic DX, help catching the CEL code
I got a 95 Civic DX with Y8 engine, manual with auto Y8 manifold modified to work with manual IAC, GSR tb. The problem is, every morning when I start cold, after a while of driving, it throws CEL. It only does that once per day on the first drive of the day. I've been trying to catch this CEL by jumping as soon as it comes on with engine on and without engine on with key in ON position. It shows no code. I cannot make it to throw the same CEL in same day. I have to wait overnight parking to make it come on again. It only comes on while driving too. At first, I thought it was the VTEC sensor but it wasn't the case. VTEC works just fine.
Any idea how I can catch this CEL? Ask me for any details.

I have followed the procedure. I have been. I even saw the one where if the code gets clear, jump it as soon as it comes on by parking on the side with engine on. Still got nothing. That's why I'm at lost. Any tips?

When you pull over with the CEL on and leave the engine idling, no codes blink from the CEL when you jump the service connector? The CEL just remains on steady?
Does the CEL remain on after you pull over with the engine idling? And it remains on until you jump the service connector?

I waited for 2 minutes thinking it might change the frequency of the blink but it didn't. Just sane over 30 blinks. Same as how it blinks after clearing and resetting ECU. I'll make a video tomorrow morning. Have to wait for a day.

Ah. I think it's code 10. I have AEM cold air intake and since the car came with auto y8 manifold which I modded to work with manual IAC, I didn't drill hole for IAT. Instead, I drilled a hole on my intake between the throttle body and the hole where the small hose that comes from engine is connected. I placed the IAT there. Do you think that is the problem? If so, why does it only come on once a day on cold start after a few major load on the engine such as leaving the traffic light or going up the freeway ramp, after engine reach operating temperature

Here's where I put IAT. I hope this doesn't make any differences.
This morning before I leave for school, I took out the intake to take picture. While at it, I measured the resistance of the IAT. It was 2.2k ohm at 70' F and it was slowly going down by 0.001 ohm. I measured the voltage of the lead and it was 5 V constant. I put the intake back on. Drove to school. No CEL so far.
