Default InlinePro vs. Blox ... Exhaust Manifolds?

Could someone explain to me why everyone goes for these InlinePro exhaust manifolds, this Blox seems to have better wastegate placement? Possibly the InlinePro can handle more pressure? I'm sure there's much more to it then that but from the looks of it I can't figure out why they are priced so much more and why everyone grabs them?

I was looking around to pick myself up one of these Inline's and stumbled across a Blox and got me thinking.

I'm going for a log manifold for a/c and p/s. So please don't tell me to just go grab a tubular mani.

the inlinepro is cast stainless IIRC. the blox is cast iron.

Inlinepro probably give a better clearance for the turbo compressor housing than the blox. I heard you'll have to grind into the block webbing if your running an "E" compressor housing. But don't take my words for it.

I run the blox with a precision sc34 t3/to4e and did have to grind away a section of block webbing and some of the id plate. but I run ps and ac with a full radiator and dual fans.

Stainless would be cool as mine is starting to rust over a little, but its nothing some high temp paint wouldn't fix and I think I may have it thermal coated.

But for the most part they are so similar I don't see how one could possibly out perform the other, and couldn't justify the extra $ for the IP. I think both carry a lifetime warranty.

i have the blox manifold in my car.. and i did like it.. but the inline pro is just a better manifold hands down. the inline pro is the way to go.. and the blox manifold does not have a clearance for the dipstick eithier.. the inline manifold does.. Go to the website and see the tests and the amount of power that people are making on the inline pro.. It is the real deal.. The amount of money that you pay for it.. is worth every penny..

just cause they look the same dosent mean they are. the inline pro is proven there is guy on here that made 800hp or something crazy on one. ive never heard of any problems with them or there wastgate placement best log on the market and i have had a spoolin performance log a ebay one and peakboost manifold.

I don't have a pic but I originally just had the drivers side oem fan that runs with the temp...but in the summer in traffic with the ac on it started to over heat so I added a slim fan on the pass side.

I have a k&n clamped to the turbo and it touches the fan and the block (mainly the slave) but it fits. Slim fan runs when AC is on and so far has solved my temp issues. The DP I bought is 2.5" and flares to 3" as soon as it clears the ac but eventually I am gonna make my own as I am pretty sure I can squeeze a full 3" in. Also plan to fab a little intake tube to get the filter out from between the motor and fan. I run a 38mm tial right on the mani with no elbow, barely clears the valve cover and hood. This is on an LS DC.

Yea I mean I was just curious of what people thought of the Blox, I always knew the Inline was better so now I'm confident to spend the extra cash for it.
