i already asked and know it would be ok to run 7psi or so on a stock H23 but, what about detonation is there any chance i would get bad detonation? i would have my turbo professionally installed, and tuned what are my chances of getting detonation? as for building engine well after i get the turbo i would plan on building the bottom end up.

Can someone get that manifold seperately or just in the kit?

Will it only fit the T3 turbo (it says T3 kit on that site) or can it fit other turbos like the T3/T4 hybrid?

That's a freaking nice manifold by the way.

Your piping is chromed or polished? If chromed did it have that rainbow effect?

im pretty sure that the weakness in the h22 and 23 is the thinness of the cylinder walls. ive looked at many motors fro dsm's and nissan and almost all of them have more room between the cylinders

no it's not, when was the last time you saw the cylinder walls on a stock h22 crack under boost?? they don't it's the ring lands or the rod/rod bolts. The issue with the stock sleeve is they don't allow for forged pistons because the expansion rate of the sleeve is different then that of the piston thus creating piston to sidewall contact

sleeved h22 stock 87mm bore
stock head, stock IM, f-max log manifold t3/t4 "60" trim turbo w/ .63 a/r hotside
750 cc injectors
msd 6a box, ss blaster coil, 2.25in dumptube, 3in exhaust w/ testpipe, open dumptube, str cam gears -3in, 0 ex.

total timing 19 degrees
18psi boost
all controlled by NEPtune

as you can see there is a **** load of more power to be made once i can find some time to upgrade my puny 2.25in dumptube and maybe even switch to a EL

BTW nice setup john, how big is that t4 again?
we need some NEPtune stickers for our cars man.. get me a logo and i can print them up..

i have chrome, i would not do it again. It holds in a lot of heat, no it has not changed colors or rainbowed.
