Free CRX Local pick up
I have an 88 CRX Si for local pick up. There is no title for it. (I sold it to a friend, but he never picked up the car) I need to get rid of this thing ASAP.
It was running, but it's just missing a distributor. Seats and interior are all intact. There is some side damage on the right side.
If you buy it, it's for parts only.

i had this car up for sale for $400..someone bought it (Civicdrgrcr), I gave him the title and he took the distributor and left and said he would get the car towed to his place. Never came back for the car.....!
Interior is FULLY intact. Engine is intact. Just missing a distributor. Also the side has damage! Fender damage, door damage (can't open right hand side)
So i'm not sure where he is right now...he said he would get it towed out but never responding back. Let me know.

Re: (BG Boost)
From Baltimore, It's about an hour drive. Most likely you will need to get it towed. Even if you do get the distributor on, there is right , rear end damage. (Right, rear tire is crooked) A bodyshop will have to pull out the damage. If it was a 20 min drive to your house, then its fine. But an hour drive on the highway = wouldn't take a risk.

FYI - Without the title this car could be a headache for anyone who picks it up.
If you do work on it and the kid who has the title likes what he sees he can legally take the car from you along with everything you did to it and he owes you nothing in return - since it was never your car and he didn't authorize you to do the work to his car.
Further - he can report the car stolen and not only do you lose the car but you go to jail for auto theft.

Nah not really. I have a friend who is 15 minutes away from it WITH a tow truck waiting for the go-ahead.

LOL! First dibs? This isn't HS ****.
I bet when the tow truck gets there the owner won't say we can't have it . . .
You'd better get going d00d - you have a 2 hour ride ahead of you.
And for the record - I am not the one picking it up and the car is not coming to me.
