Default suspension setup

Hey guys! Been around on these forums for a minute and I guess ill be the first to say if so ..maybe... I need suspension set up help on my 4 door 93 civic. Let me give a little more background about the car and myself. It is my daily (after I sold my s13 that was my swang mobile) and I always wanted to do auto cross but having 2 cars and doing both while also paying bills and being a father of 2 is not something you can do very easily. So working 2 jobs and using my funds left over I started working on my civic. The specs of what I can remember right now.

93 civic
D15b (which will be swapped out for a 97 gsr motor with stock gsr tranny)
Turbonetics t3
Straight pipe to a magnaflow 2.50 exhaust
Rc 440 injectors obd1 p&p
Hks v2 bov
Greddy 24x12x2.75 intercooler
Greddy piping
Walbro fuel pump 255
Tuned on crome pro boost set a 10psi
Hks volt stabalizer

My stance on the car right now is work equip 03
Front 15x7 +5 with 195/50/15
Rear 15x7 + 5 cambered at -3 205/50/15

Suspenion
Type r front shocks with megan coils *front*
Tokico blue with megan coils *rear*
Megan lca, skunk 2 ruca, asr frame brace, beaks lower tie bar

The ride on that is find bumps are alright. My car vibrates due to the camber in the front. (Getting inner tire wear but will be fixed soon with skunk 2 camber kit.) I have driven with this setup for 8 months but I know its not turn friendly seeing how when I took a turn on the 57n to the 10w right before cal poly I got some wheel hop from the uneven road and slight dip. Its fine if I wanted to keep this for just driving on the road but not for autox. Btw the car is lowered on both sides same height using a malbro smooth box as my gap on each coil. >_<

Question is I'm looking for something driveable from work to back and fun on the track. Mind you I will be having my kids in the car about 25-30% of the time. So I don't won't them suffering from shock syndrome or them being bobble heads lol(ages 2 and 3). I was thinking about the master flex with edfc controls so when I do go on the track I can adjust the dampning and go like that. But after searching months and threads a lot of people go with the koni yellow and gc setup. Price wise its very good and seeing how the economy is, funds I have been holding on to but I don't want to cheap out.

I plan on changing my wheel specs again to something more flush with the body so I'm thinking 15x8 +15 same type of wheel as well. a little light would help guys. Thank you.

i'll say it first, and everyone else well say it too. just go as you are now. you don't seem like the serious type, and since it sounds like your first time, just go out there and have fun. learn a little bit from the guys that have been there a while. ask questions. you're just starting, and if you're really strapped for cash just leave it as is, and go like that. learn to drive before you decide to change anything.

seat time is head over heels the best thing to have.

Sounds like you have an alignment prob. if your getting tire wear like that. I suggest getting an alignment before you do anything

I have been a couple of times before the wheel setup to a few autox events around horse theif. I'm just not that satisfied with what I currently have as a setup. I'm pretty serious as far as attending events and its not that I'm strapped on cash. I'm just cautious about buying products that will fit my needs than vs buying a product due to hype. The second job is money for the car parts. Lol.

As for the alignment issue you are right. After lowering the car, this issue occured. Its not as bad but I notice a little bit of wear on both left and right inner tires. But I don't plan on fixing the alignment since I'm purchasing another set of 4 and getting rid of these. There would be no point to do balancing and alignment if the wheel spec and suspension are going to change. Plus I need to add the camber kit as well.

I do plan on going to events 3 times a month at least getting more seat time signing up with speedtrials.

will then it all comes down to picking and choosing. if you're not strapped for cash, then go with the tein's. but then get some dedicated rims and tires for autox.

it's also hard to say cause you have a turbo setup too. which puts you in SM. it's going to be hard to be competitive when you still want it to be friendly to your kids. idk, lets see what everyone else has to say

Understandable. Yeah the reason I was strapped on funds were due to me trying to do both s13 and civic togehter. Now having one its been more relaxing. I do like the Teins. They seem to be the best coilover for something entry. I want to get other opinons on it as far as other alternatives. As far as my kids there really not in my car a lot. I shot a percentage of what I thought. I don't take my car on road trips or long drives its usually preschool drop off or a small trip to places such as chuck e cheese or some indoor jungle gym. I'm usually at work so after I have the car most of the time and she has them pretty much the whole day. But if were road tripping we take the accord. It has ac, ps, and its more roomy.
