Simplicity and a great driver makes a hell of a winning combination.
I can say I have seen this car blow by me like i was standing still at BW.
Edo and Andrie were on fire that day.
Two thumbs up Edo
For those who think they need to buy the very best of everything to make a quick car learn from this.
Edo has the art of simplicity and reliability down to an art here.
FYI check his signature.... The man can just flat out drive too!

Great article and video. Very cool to see and inspiring to novice drivers just learning the sport. Those of us that are working within tight budgets and learning and having fun, its cool to see. Thanks for posting.

Great article. I know Edo is a fantastic driver...but that IS a lot of car! It seems like the argument is that it's not...193WHP and probably 2300 pounds? 245 Hankooks? 2812's? That's a lot of car in my opinion, a lot of WELL DRIVEN car!

Now I know I am not the only person out there proudly utilizing hardware from Home Depot, lol.
I liked the article to, however, this isn't going to fly by me without comment: "...he is utilizing the Honda OEM Ignition system...that not only adds to the reliability.."
Utter bullshit. The OEM ignition system is something most of us have learned through experience is subject to failure in normal track use. The replacement costs of an OEM ign vs the vastly superior Hondata Coilpack Retrofit are nearly the same. I went through variations of three oem ignitions in 2011 on my b16.
Can't figure out why, as far as I know, am the only person running the CPR in Nor-Cal (So-Cal?) and it has been absolutely flawless.
