Default HONDA in formula 1

I didint know where to post this but i was just wondering if anyone was a little frustrated with the perfomance of BAR and JORDAN honda, during the last couple of years. They have the money now lets put ferari and bmw back in their places, just the same way Aryton Senna did.

all opinions are welcomed

Honda made a huge showing at Silverstone last week (beating a Williams and both Mclarens). A lot of it was the Bridgestone tiresthey were using, but they also ran a new Honda engine for the first time in a race and it looks promising...

BAR is doing testing with the "Athena" chassis again this week. Does anybody know if more info is available about that chassis anywhere? I'm really curious to find out what is so special about it... apart from the fact that it brings Honda one step closer to running a factory team.

I know this is old but I believe most of this information still holds true.

Imo, its just a matter of time before Honda starts winning again. They always have, probably always will.

BMW managed to develop a great engine the first time out. It has gotten better with continual development and refinement.

Look at Ferrari. They weren't very good for many years. Then they were one of the top 2 teams the last a couple of years. But, their engines were lacking. Now, they've gotten to the point where everything about their car is good.

Or look at McLaren. They were the top dogs at the end of the 90s. The Mercedes engines were awesome. Now, they've lost that edge and are down on power a little bit, for whatever reasons.

Honda is the same way. They didn't make an awesome engine like BMW the first time out. Rather, its going to take some time and effort to develop it into a winner, much like Ferrari. Or, they could go the way of Mercedes, and lose ground. But I dont see that happening any time soon.

Imo, Honda will win again (fair and square) within the next 2 seasons.
