Bottom Mount Adjustable seat bases 94-01 Integra
I have some really nice Sparco Speeds (bottom mount) that I'd like to put into a 94-01 Integra. Since this will be a street/autox car, I'd like them to be on sliders.
Does anyone make a seat base/slider setup for this that won't set the seat up so high that your helmet will be on the roof, or will I be forced to go custom?

The speed seat isnt fia rated, but im sure you know that. Since your only doing auto x there is no need to have a rated seat.
Your best bet is to weld in a few cross bars on the oem rails/sliders and bolt the seat to it.
I have seen it done before.
You will be closer to the oem seat height itself which is what you want in the first place and still be able to adjust your seat position forward or back.

I thought the Sparco base solution sat you up as high or higher than OEM, so yeah--that's kinda why I asked. Didn't know if anyone else made a better solution or not. Sparco always made great seats but I always HATED their bases.
Attaching some cross pieces to the OEM rails was one of my 'custom' solutions, so looks like that'll be the route I take.

Take a look at the Planted seat base. I have it and it comes with a variety of mounting holes and plenty of extra material if you need to drill others. Just buy the Sparco bottom mound sliders and you should be set.

I have something similar for my corbeau passenger seat.
But for a side mount you dont have as many options.
With the sliders you should only raise up an inch to an inch and a half from stock.
Not bad considering its a bolt in set up!

Believe it or not, none of the pre-drilled holes worked with my setup! I have a Recaro SE seat with Sparco sliders. The holes on the sliders didn't match up with the base because the mounting holes in the seat are kind of wide, but like I said, there's plenty of space to drill new ones.
Also, it sits pretty low. I'm 5'7" and the SE is an OEM style seat with a thick bottom cushion and my shoulders are just above the top of the door.
