Default the sparkling engine block?

can anyone tell me of a good solution or diy engine cleaning solution

Most people have had luck with Simple Green and water. Spray with SG, let it sit for a while, then douse with water. Probably a good idea to cover your electrical components (distributor, fuse box, starter, etc) or keep water away from them while spraying. Might have to get in there with a brush and degreaser for the stubborn dirt.

the engine will be on a stand.is there anything that will come close to boiling/dipping,i wonder what kind of acid they use(sulphuric)maybe?i have no idea,ive tried to find a plce around hear to clean it,but it seams they want you to pay for head work or something else that your gonna have to pay for.

Media Blasting works but get's messy unless you get have a big enclosure for it. It worked for my wife's throttle body.

use a metal brush wheel on a drill. dont get one thats to abrasive though,.....seen this done alot of times and always looks good afterwards,......showroom!!!!!
