He sells them, there's no way he's going to tell you. I asked a simple question about if it was a liquid application or a chroming process and received no answer. While I respect their secrecy, as a consumer I'd like to know what my $550 is going for...not including the core cover.

Painting my valve cover this weekend and I have a question about paint. My engine tends to run pretty cold so would it be ok if I didn't use high temp paint? What temps can regular paint withstand?

normal paints are fine on cam covers so it doesnt matter, just make sure you do it right and dont use cheap cans

It's a process of coating, pretty sure it's a Nickel base with a type of anodizing..... electrical current being passed through with certain chemicals to make the colors change and bleed.

I've been browsing page after page of VC's, don't have my own to contribute yet but need my post count up to 5 lol. I liked the plaid one the best, I forget where it was now. I plan on painting my VC, should I use high-temp spray paint to be sure? and what should do you guys use for sanding?

Its an electro plating of titanium, 550$ is cheap for the process, there was a couple of paintball guns floating around when i played, 2 years ago that cost 2 grand to have the process done to it.

i would much wrather have a TiN coating or Ion Nitride coating. much better. plus i work at a machine shop, so these coatings are for serious industrial applications.
