As the title says I think we need a thread so people can post there DIY paint jobs along with setup and Paints used. Im always looking for shots of a finished job with info included. Also Its good for some inspiration to people like me who are ready to tackle this.

If you watched the build on this car, a lot of time went into it. So even if Eyger got his materials for cost or even pennies, there was a lot of time spent on this build. Very impressive. Also the name Eyger, where does this name originate from? I would say HU, but i could be wrong.

let's see
from this
to this
paint is a 2K RAL color from PPG, build time +/- 2 months
then after 2 years
Paint 1K base coat from Dupont with 2K clearcoat. Car was actually painted completely in the dupont paint and clearcoat. But because I wasn't happy with the result, I sanded it down again with a P1200 wet and repainted it again. Build time 6 months. Final paint was done in a professional paint booth. I don't understand how you guys keep dust out of the paint when painting in your garage.

I spent around $500.00 for paint and supplies (Frost White)
Saw the car behind a dealership and bought it for $500.00
