advice on how to remove interior paint?
ok so the previous owner painted most of the interior white. i got no idea why. but he did. the a and b pillars are white, the visors are white, and the headliner is all white. should i take em all out and use acetone and a scraper to get it off? i've seen a bunch of people talk about brake fluid, but only for plastics like the pillars right? should i do the acetone thing?
Doesn't hurt to try a section since its coming off anyways, or why don't you just repaint it. since i don't think it will look oem after paints off

your best bet would prbaly be buying a new interior thats what i had to do all my pillars were painted a darker gray and the paint began to peel then i tried sandin it of didnt work made it worse then i just started chipping it off with my nail took forever so i decided to throw it away and get new one's
on some of it you can use aircraft stripper. I have done it a few time and never had a problem just try it in a hidden area first. It will eat some plastics just not all.
hmm alright ill just peeling it off and see what happens. it just crackles. where do you guys suggest buying oem interior? like any websites besides craiglist and ebay. and what should i do with the headliner? can i use aircraft cleaner as well?

clean everything with degreser then sand it with a scuff pad, then use a plastic adhesion promoter, then paint. if you do that nothing will chip off or scratch. the prep work is they key to making the paint last
try using laquar thinner its what they clean paint guns out with its harsh so whipe it of quickly then wash the parts off with some soapy water
I found the SEM paint at Napa, just call and ask, its about 11 dollars a can. if you decide to to repaint everything after taking the paint off id use that
