What do to...
OK i have a 92 eg with some cosmetic mods like recaros, cf roll cage and what not, but the car is going to need paint soon, i would also like a little more power then just stock, and since its a 92 with 174,000 miles its prolly going to need some engine work soon.So with all that im going to be spending a decent amount of money. So my question is do i sell/part out the car and get something else or do i just keep putting money into it? im not sure what i want to do. any suggestions would help.

Well. This is Honda-Tech, so most people would say keep it an work on it.
I had a 94 coupe that I dumped thousands of dollars into, and then I got a WRX. But now I miss working on Honda's because it's what I always did and enjoyed doing. So I'm in the process now of getting my coupe and getting it back in working order since I sold a good bit of my parts.
Really, it just has to do with how much you want to invest in your hobby. If you are scared about how much money you are going to spend, you are probably scared for a reason, and you might want to pick a new hobby.
If you do decide to keep the Civic and work on it, there are some great sources on the website and more than enough info to get you through any project.
Basically, I would say that you need to figure out how much you really enjoy working on cars and what you're willing to spend. If you don't think you want to spend money on a new motor, suspension, etc., then maybe you should buy a new car.

Depends on your budget and what you want out of the car, and how much wrnech time you want to put in.
For $10k you can get a lot of car. Dumping $10k into a $1200 civic is not a good idea unless you plan on keeping the car FOREVER, since you won't enev get 20% of what yo spent back.
10K an get you all sorts of cool stuff:
wrx, rsx-s, ls1 f-body, turbo volvo, e36 m3, etc. etc.

o yea i wouldnt put 10k in the car...lol but yea if i sell the car and save a little more i would have 10k to spend on something else.
well to be honest i really want a wrx but im not sure if i can keep up with it. i mean some stuff i can do at home but not all of it. and if i were to get another car i want it to be somewhat affordable. i dont want an m3 that kills on gas and parts and stuff, it would be nice but im not in the right place to be buying cars i cant keep up with.

What do want in a car? Speed? Comfort? Reliability?
