Re: (MidShipCivic)
I know I'm slightly crazy, but one of my dream project vehicles would be to take one of these (Mitsubishi Expo LRV/Eagle Summit Wagon/Colt Vista)
... and put in a 4G63t into it. They offered the combination from the factory in the Japan (The Mitsubishi RVR). They also offered EVOIII engine/drivetrain in them (Mitsubishi RVR Hyper Sports Gear).
My first car was a '92 Expo LRV just like the one above, and it'd make a great sleeper with a 4G63t. It wouldn't win any beauty pagents, but it'd be "sleepy."

Re: (MidShipCivic)
They may be a headache, considering they're up to 18 years old, but they grow on you. I've owned two first gens: a 92 GST and a 92 TSi, and I miss them both. They do get a lot of slack from Honda guys, usually about their trannies or electrical problems, but I don't think that there is another car that you can get for that cheap and go that fast with.

Well its really that these cars aren't taken care of.
90-94 DSM with 300HP + and a stock tranny depending on the driver can live long or die really fast, but no matter everything has to be upgraded because it's not the strongest thing in the world.
2g are better in the 97-99 years with synchronizers but its not STRONG. It's a 3000lb car your moving and all grip with little to slip.
