figured id give everyone an update on my y8...got all teh bearings in and torqued down and the bastad wont spin .....when i loosen up #1 rod cap it spins fine...plastiguaged everything and its all dead center of spec ne idears??

depends on how you tuck it. I mean why would you need to go back into the wires anyways? if you need to tap into one for a signal then just go and tap in near the plug. If you need to wire in sidemarkers then just run wires from where you tap in near a plug. Only reason you would need to go back into the wires is if you cut and soldered the harness which only needs to be done on crxs and DAs.

I know the pic request for the rust repair was a long time ago but here they finaly are.


This is the drivers side after we cut it out



Rotted out door jamb

Now time for the fixes PS the Pass side was worse and that is the side that is alredy fixed.








BTW I did not wright that it was other people in my class.

Rember this is befor it has been grinded down so it should look better Ill keep you guys updated to.
