Anyone in the central Virginia area have use for a dyno? A business partner and I are thinking about taking the plunge and getting a 2wd Dynapack. We've had a heck of a time trying to get his E39 M5 dyno'ed recently (running back and forth to Elkton then to Richmond, one lacking OBDII logging, one not able to record boost). We then decided that with my background in tuning (professionally tuned LC/LX Dodge/Chrysler vehicles using Diablosport CMR software in addition to experience with FAST, AEM, HPTuners, SCT, and Hondata) and the potential for local business we should see how feasible it would be to buy a dyno.
Initially, I don't know what, if any, programmers/software packages we would have available but we would be able to do power pulls and log (at a minimum) A/F and boost. One big plus for the working folks out there is that our hours would be mostly by appointment (5pm-whenever during the week and during the day sat) as the plan is to keep our day jobs for the time being.
So, with that said: Is anyone in the Charlottesville area finding themselves in need of a dyno? If so, chime in with interest or any questions or PM me.
Thanks
