Default Question About Lights

hey guys. as you all know im new. just bought a 97 CX not long ago. the front headlights have a bulb hanging down from a drilled hole. is this a HID conversion? or what? how do i hook this whole thing up?

Also found this box. Left 2 connections go to bulbs hanging down the headlights.
Top Right cables were pulled to the inside. dont know if they had it connected to a switch inside or the fuse box.

The bulb hanging down is most likely (from the pic above) a strobe light (specifically street glow brand strobe light), if you apply power (12+volts to the white stripped wire and ground the all black) to the module the light should flash on n off when connected..

What color are the bulbs? If you didn't want the strobes I'd buy um from ya...

ohhh. where would be the best place to hook up the 12 volt wire to? i can hook up a switch to turn them on and off right? the bulbs are white. got a pic. i'd have to test them out to see if they work, and if i dont decide to keep em. sure ill sell them.

test off the battery, connect the strobes to the big box controller and then connect the black to ground and black with white stripe to positive.... If you do keep them, those are Street Glow headlights strobes, they sell a strobe controller that lets you tie two pairs of strobes together and allows you to change pattern and speed... You can ground the black wire anywhere to metal and then run the black with white stripe together, to a switch and a fused line to either a spare acc. pin in the fuse box, use an add a fuse or run a fused line from the battery to the switch..
