hid question
but i guess its up to the state/county/city to decide if they really wanna enforce it or not, i had hids on my accord as well as many other civics, integras etc all over mid tn and was never pulled over.
There are numbers on your headlight, along with SAE DOT or other stamps, which require a bulb of that type to be in the headlight. HID 9005 bulbs do not count as they are what we call "rebased" bulbs. It's illegal period. The way I do it is retrofit. still illegal, but as close to legal as you can get.

okay i'm getting myself an HID kit,and getting 6k. well hears the thing that i would like to know, i shouldnt get an ticket from "COPS" if i'm not run the light kit in the picture that i'm using from someones picture for an example. because all i'm going to do is just pulg in play the HID light without use the thing in the picture.
also for the fog light, is there any brighter light for the fog light, because i only have the stock h11 lights which is just the clear lights, so i want some fog light that is a little brighter to see then stock h11 light. because i know when getting the HID'S in, these fog light is going to look like ****. i also know that they make HID'S for the fog lights but i'm sure that i wont be able to see nothing when its time for fog. help me out.

I live in NJ, We don't get hounded for HID's but trust me you guys don't go through HALF the crap we go through over here because the Grand Theft Auto dynamic involving Honda's and Stolen motors, ect here is insurmountable..we get our hoods popped for being HONDA DRIVERS, nevermind HID's or tints.
Anyway, I was in oakland 2 weeks ago for some streeting, brought my hatch which has not only Crystal Blue's in the headlamps, but also a 6 Bulb custom array, HID's in the fog lamps and I didn't get touched..and that's with out of state plates.
Go for the 6000K's and rock on man, you'll be ok.
