Default cleaning the HID bulb

So I might have accidently touched my HID bulbs and I heard that skin oil will ruin the bulbs so I decided to clean it. I'm just not sure if I did it correctly. Here's what I did:

I cleaned the entire bulb (the glass part and the metal parts and insulator) with "91% isopropyl rubbing alcohol" on "Bounty paper towel" while wearing "powderless Ambidextrous exam latex gloves" for about 10 minutes.

Did I do it correctly? Or did I do something wrong or did I forget something?

Thanks.

it doesnt matter if you've touched the bulb or not. As long as it's not true oil, then the bulb will be fine.

LOL you did it correctly.
The thing is that it will drastically take great effect on halogen bulbs only.

so its definately 100% clean? lols cause i didnt know if im suppose to clean the metal parts or if its good to use bounty paper towels since paper towel isnt as soft as a cloth.. but i used the paper towel with alcohol, so i dunt know if its too rough or not. i dont want to damage the bulbs..
