Default Best headlight bulbs

I'm going to do the high beam upgrade on my hatch. What brand should I go with? What's going to be the brightest bulb to get?

So you want bright over longevity? I have the Sylvania Ultra bulbs in my lows, they're like $50 at any auto parts store. And I have done the 9005 bulb conversion as well. They are really bright. Great lighting on the sides of the road and in front of you. But maybe that's just me because I have adjusted the hell out of my lights to put the light on the road where I WANT it.

So if Sylvania Ultras are the choice for brightness, what would be best for longevity like u said? And what would be the best choice between the two in terms of getting my money's worth?

And btw... love the car there... just like mine. Lol

The silverstars if you wanna go both ways. They both don't really go hand in hand though. You choose either one.

i got Sylvania Ultras theyre not all that they claim to be comparing to piaa or b1 hybrids, but the price is $50 quality better than those nokio china blubs that last about less then a year or melt the headlight harness. imo i would spend $15 more and get ebay HID (brighter). or Piaa they have 1 year warranty if its on dtr or always on they last about 9months you still can return it.

I might get flamed for this but oh well. I put my buddies 6k Retro-Solutions PnP HID kit into my car that is a true 55w kit and the lighting was quite a bit brighter. If you're going to go with any PnP kit, spend the little extra cash for the Retro-Solutions kit. If not, run the Ultra bulbs or the SilverStar bulbs. Adjust your light as well to put the light on the ground where it needs to be. That's where a lot of people have downsides with their lighting, is how well the lights are adjusted.

In all honesty, a Pnp 35w HID kit with the correct relay harness will give you the same output as a 55w kit. I do suggest a retro fit if you go with hid's as well.

Of course this is where I plug my product. We include a lifetime warranty with our HID KITS. We have 55w and 35w kits, but like I said, you will find the same output with a 35w kit and a relay harness, this will save you a grip of $$ as well.... and of course only buy hid's from suppliers that offer a lifetime warranty. High quality hid's should last the life of the vehicle without any problems, if they are not backing their product up, chances are its not worth the money.
