UFO!!! Interesting, I would have put the line of LED's along the bottom edge of the headlights, like they are on Audi's.

 

The A3 has them on top.

The rest (A/S/RS 4/5/6/8, TT, and R8) have them under the headlamp.

My gf has repeatedly tried to tell me how strange the A3 looks with them on top (she drives an A4). I keep hearing "They look like BMW eyebrows like that!".

 

i wanted more shape to the leds like the r8. plus having the straight ones in the bumper lights and the headlights prob would have looked weird.

yea...i was thinkin of hookin the bumper lights into the stock relay so they are off all the time except when the blinker comes on instead of running them constant. its a little much with both, haha

i didnt want them to be blue, but the bumper lens' were nite shaded prior to the led install, so they came out fairly blue. when i decided to do the headlights i had to nite shade the leds so they matched. I would have preferred white as well...also i just checked the leds i bought the color temp is 8000k which also is slightly blue, but its mostly due to the nite shade spray

 

Hmm, nice. I had the same idea after I saw the lights on the Audi R8 in IronMan. Along the bottom though. God that is one sexy car.

possible to put leds in the headlights? u can put leds in any car...making it look good is a different story

 

I would went with one or the other though. The ones on the bottom foglight style, or the ones in the headlights. Would've went along the bottom of the headlight though. I like the way they turned out on this tl http://tl.acurazine.com/forums/album.php?albumid=479 . And I wouldn't mind doing some "fogs" like this.
