226whp and 17xlb/ft
few parts are,
head
stock ITR head
stock type r cams
skunk retainers
skunk 2 pro manifold and TB
RC 780cc injectors
OBX fuel rail
3inch intake with k&n
OBX "race" headers
custom slightly bented 3inch exhaust
Block
darton sleeved K24 89mm
CP 11.2CR pistons
balanced crank

i know its on d stock cams but i really expected more
is it the tune or what?
or that figure is ok with you guys?
i would try to get dyno graph

Ok finally done with the build there are 4 dynos starting from where i got it since today
This thing REVS like a bike and it has lots of tq
Heres the dynos:
Made 274.8hp and 200tq on the last run will post that dyno sheet tomorrow
Made 293.1 and 216tq the most i made that day was 294hp
new numbers
Heres the list of parts:
Block
k24a4 87.5 bore honed and hot tanked
Wiseco 87.5 12.5 cr pistons with deep pocket valves
BP Pro I beam rods
crank was balaced and polished and knife edge
acl race series bearing
Head
Blueprint stage3 cams
IPS retainers and spring combo Im still in the stock valves
Bolt ons
rbc manifold
Hytech replica header
3.0inch exhaust
CAI
AEM EMS
550 inj
The runs were done on a DYNOMITE with 93oct
Thanks to IMPORT AUTO PROS for tunning and building this motor
and to ROBBIE from blueprint for the good prices and quality parts

Motor- K24A2 block
12.5 cp pistons 87.5mm
Stock k24a2 head
BC older cams
BC springs and retainers
Modified 45deg VTC by me
Custom Inatke Manifold
HR 74MM TB
Kidd Racing Header
J&D 3" exhaust Vbanded With Dynomax muffler
02 RSX type S tranny Mfactory LSD
Comp clutchg Stage 4
Dss axles
Road Race tuned HOT and conservative
260 whp 207 wtq
Car had a horrible intake on for dyno sitting behind radiator . Temps were 150 deg at filter more power is to be had with a real intake .Car was tuned at 210-215 deg water temp to simulate worst case on Track. Cai and CA box will be modified and tested soon. Along with custom radiator shroud. Car will be a road race car only. Our intake manifold Made 20-30 whp from 4500-6500 over ported RBC and still made power up to 8500. useable powere band is great with this setup. The BC cams we have are similar to the Type R cams in specs. we want to be around 280 with better cooler air intake. we were impressed with the overall powerband and the trq is more like a 300whp motor. A ported head and better cams will gain a ton with our setup. were going to test our intake soon and dyno with open header.

Re: Official: K24 block, K20 head build info
I used to do b series forced induction setups an now I just purchased a k24a4 shortblock. I want to do a k24a4 built bottom end with the 2.6l stroker kit on a sleeved block. I would like to use a k20z head an have that built aswell. What is the highest compression I can run on e85 With itbs an still keep it streetable? Is going to a 2.6l unrealible? Also how long will it last? My shortblock is missing a waterpump, crank pully aswell as the timing chain guide. Like I said I've only built d and b series engines before. What are all the parts I need to do the build? Some people say you can't use a k24a4 oil pump for a race engine. Others say get a k20 oil pump but you have to modify the pump to make it fit the block. Anyway money is not a concern because I'm going to be taking my time on the build. I'm looking for 360whp to 380whp.

Re: Official: K24 block, K20 head build info
Whats a safe rpm for a stock bottom k24a4? Looking to replace a high mile k20 with it and using k20 head from a type s or Si?
Daily driver, so reliability means more then max power for me. not looking at making crazy hp or rev to 9000rpms.
Whats the difference in the bottom end between k24a4 in the accord and the K24a2 in the tsx?
I read all this over on k20a.org. but this is all back from 2004.

At its 7900-rpm redline, the K20A2 in the Type-S has a piston speed of 4464 feet per minute (fpm). Thanks to its long stroke, the K24A1 comes close to that, running at 4225 fpm at its much lower redline of 6500 rpm. By the time you've spun your K24 up to just 6900 rpm, you're already at 4485 fpm, and at the 7900 rpm redline of the K20A2, you're at a crazy 5135 fpm.

Yo I know this is an old post but did the k20a2 head straight fit on your k24 block? also did you have to bore the cylinders as for the pistons does it have to be the tsx piston or can you use the type S?

^yes and no...what k24 you talking about. theres a few dif ones.
or you can jus buy a k24a2..which is basicaly a type s k20 with a fancy head.
i had a k24a2 and it had *****. type r intake manifold. race header. kpro. rdx injectors. type s (PRB) oil pump
rbc vtc gear from type s. 06 tsx cams. was a brute motor.
wish i still had it. i would have put in 09 tsx pistons and bigger cams. prolly still wouldnt get traction with that either lol

I see so if I was to get the k24a2 long block it'll be a straight fit with no drilling right? plus ill be able to use the tsx stock pistons and oil pump and from there just a kpro tune? as for the boltons ill deal with it later haha

Re: Official: K24 block, K20 head build info
Sorry for bumping an old thread.....
These are some very impressive numbers for piston/rod/cams/vt/bolt ons. Anything above 250whp NA is nasty!! I thought I took sleeving and crazy compression to get even 250+ whp. Interesting.........

Re: Official: K24 block, K20 head build info
I'm looking to pick up a 2004 type s with k20 and garrett turbo with 7 psi. it has a BHG and will need cylinder head work. I noticed that the wiring for the spark plugs were burned off. Can I just order a replacement part and plug and play or do I need to solder it up? The pigtail is on the passenger side of the engine bay close to the firewall.

Hey guys bit of a newbie with k20... just bought myself an 2003 ep3 type r ukdm... Just interested in what is different between si head and type r head and if power figures are similar... and is the k24a4 a shorter stroked block the than the other k24's. and thanks for all the info here already and sorry if i missed a post like mine.
