My first k-swap, and I need advice
Hey guys I'm a long time lurker and finally made an account, this is my first engine swap ever, and my first post here so i apologize if any of this sounds stupid.
I need some help here. I have a 97 ek civic, with ek subframe and a k24a4 (less desirable, i know) from an 07 element and an APG6 trans from an accord along with accord ecu, harness, shifter, cables, and all accessories for $450. It was a steal so I didn't want to pass it up. Worst case scenario I have a spare for my element that I daily drive.
That being said, I've searched forums and reddit, and I still have no idea what mounts to use to make this work. Or if I even CAN make this work in my ek. Everything I've read on hasport's website and ktuned only references ep3 trans and rsx trans. Ive tried to glance through any previous posts so I'm not asking the same question over again, so I apologize if I overlooked a previous thread but any help would seriously be greatly appreciated!

HASport has what you need... use the EKK3 mount kit if you intend to keep the EK rear subframe and the EKK4 mount kit if you switch to the EG subframe. The EKK4 mount kit will offer better axle alignment and the ability to lower the engine in the bay for better hood clearance.
