I've finally decided on a bore size and compression ratio for the pistons I will be purchasing for my future NA build (K24a2). I will be going 87.5mm 12.5:1 CR, either Supertech or Wiseco (more research between the two will hopefully help my decide). My questions is, if the pistons are listed for the K24 block with the K20 head, will it also work with an all motor K24? I ask because it seems as though every site that I can locate them has them listed as K24/K20. Also, is it true that the coating on the Supertech pistons is better for daily driving? Thanks guys.

They'll work but the compression will be slightly different than advertised.

Wisecos have a skirt coating as well. Had a set in my last k20/k24 that I dailyed for almost two years without a problem.
