Default k24 CKP crank position sensor differences

I built a K24a4 for my friends 04 Civic Hatch (EP3) using the stock A3 Head, intake, harness, accessories etc. Everything is stock except the bottom end (long block from an accord or element) which has new pistons, stock rods/crank and a "type s" oil pump/baffle.

We are using a 2002 manual CRV ECU 37820-PPA-A02. We have a K-Tuned immobilizer/multiplexor black box installed as we didn't get the original key.

The problem is we are getting a code for the Crank Position sensor and the car won't rev past 3k. I looked back at my pictures and it looks like I installed the crank pulser wheel correctly.

I tried EVERY different wiring configuration on the harness connector for the CKP. I got error code P0335 (no signal) until I wired the harness in such a way that the blue signal wire shows ~5.6V with the sensor in my hand and ~0.3V when i place a piece of metal in front of the sensor. Seems logical but it didn't work out though because I can clear the code but when I install the sensor and we start the engine I get error code P0336 (intermittent interuption) instantly.

Is there a possibility that the crank pulser wheel is different between the k24a4 and the one that came in the CRV?
OR
Is it possible that the crank position sensors are different? It seems like the CRV and EP3 share the same part number for the sensor and that the accord/element use a different part number. Both sensors I have seem to be the same and work the same the same when checking with the multimeter. One sensor is the original EP3 and the other is from the accord long block.

Any input is greatly appreciated as this is my first K-series project and I am banging my head against the wall because I just want to break the motor in properly and give the car back to my friend. Tonight I will borrow a bore scope camera from work and confirm that the crank pulser wheel is installed correct, but I would like confirmation that all the K24 pulsers are identical if anyone knows this for a fact.
Lastly, can someone confirm that the CRV ECU is compatible or not with the EP3 temperature gauge.

There are at least two different sensors, but for me (on haltech) they both worked when wired correctly. They are wired differently btw.

I would try and change the sensor, the stock ECU is much more advanced when it comes to these things compared to the haltech ps1000 that I used.

Problem solved... Crank pulser wheel was installed backwards
Yes I am aware that it is marked "OUTSIDE" pretty clearly. I must have been distracted.

Where did you look at it from without opening the timing chain cover
