Hey all, super new to the whole honda thing and feel that i'm about to ask a dumb question but here goes... Is the K series transmission the same across the board? I have a K24A1 in my CR-V, and i want to order parts for the transmission but can't find ANY info on this particular trans ANYWHERE. I essentially want to know If i can order parts for say an 05 RSX trans or other honda/acura w a K series engine and have it fit what I've got. Any help I'd appreciate. Thanks

There are parts that are interchangeable between "K" series transmissions, but not ALL parts will swap over. I suggest you be more specific on what exactly your intentions are and what parts are damaged now in the trans so that other members can offer more specific information as to a solution that meets your needs.

Thanks a bunch... I'd like to go in and replace all synchros and bearings while i'm in there. The synchros are just worn but the input shaft bearing will have to be replaced sooner. The trans is far from being bad, I have many miles to go before it's worth it to pull it out of the car and blow it apart. Ill keep the forum updated by how bad the bearing noise gets.
