iAt sensor
Ok guy I got a question, I replace my engine on a 2004 Honda Accord with the k24 on it (Mine blew up) so i got another one from a salvage yard I got the new used engine on it ,but it keeps idle up and down,i got the code p0507 ,then I realized the other engine (the one from the salvage yard) had a IAT sensor and mine on my original engine didn’t is there any possibility that’s why my engine idle like that because the missing iat sensor wire? If so what can I do about it?. Thanks in advance

Re: iAt sensor
Your IAT sensor may be built into your MAF assembly on your intake air pipe. If you didn't have an IAT sensor you would get a code for that too, so this is not your problem. You likely have a vacuum leak at the throttle body or somewhere in the intake track... check there.

To add to this, pull the Idle Air Control Valve (IACV) off of the throttle body, clean it and inspect the gasket. If the gasket is good and IACV is clean, and is still surging, test the voltage of the IACV with a multi-meter. If that reads good, make sure all of your vacuum connections and hoses are solid. One of these will fix the issue.
