Vtec g23
Hello everyone! I just joined this forum in the hope of finding competent people who can help me, so sorry if I was wrong in writing this thread, but it is the first time that I open one!
In short, let's get to the point, soon I will buy a honda civic eg, a dream that I had to fulfill, my main goal is in the swap, so, before I get my hands dirty, I must first decide carefully on which engine to throw myself without having to sell a kidney and a half.
I first inquired about the k20 of course, and then I discovered the very high prices that I would prefer to avoid, in looking at it, however, I discovered a category, the Frankenstein, a mixture of more VTECs that will give life to a new VTEC tailor-made for the pilot, a dream! (obviously looking at k20 / k24).
looking online then I discovered this new frankenstein, block f23, head h22 and pistons k20 or less that are, in short, as long as there is compression.
With figures ranging between $ 500 and $ 1800, it seems perfect, a lot of manual work, just as I like it, the problem is that nothing is clear online, so now I'm here to ask you for help, oh my VTEC lovers, which could be the most suitable choice:
make a g23 frankenstein, in this case, someone who has already done it, can you give me a guide?
Or abandon the idea of Frankenstein for something more classic, if so what?
I really hope someone can give me a hand, because I can't find accurate info.
Sorry if I got it wrong, but it's not my language.
P.s. I would like to keep it aspirated!

I upgraded rods in my g23 to molnar h beams. jb weld doesn't work for head plugs. mind that one corner head bolt that is too short to engage enough threads. mls 3 layer should be ok for 92 octane w the nippon racing k20a2s
I used innovative mounts, 90-93 accord drivers side motor mount bracket, yonaka swap axles, accord cable shifter, p2t4 4.26 final trans, chipped ecu w basemap, 290cc sat injectors, 1320 performance stepped header, skunk 2 pro series intake mani, blox 68mm tb, that whale intake deal, skunk 2 springs that are around 520lb fr- 290 rr. Had to notch a bit of passenger side framerail as the trans was lodged solidly against it like a giant stethoscope- gears were loud inside car.
