^ lol.

i wouldnt dream of running boost on a 14.5:1 motor with only an fmu. you need to do a lot of research it sounds like.

Live in VA so have emissions. So no check engine light.o by the way ase master mechanic. The only problem i have is the fact that lost ac, but building new engine with good parts but useing a saab turbo and lower compression, got to have my ac

you need to get some variation of tuning. no two ways about it...and by the fact that youre in virginia and talking about emissions, id say youre in nova. there are a number of people on here you can get in contact with that can help you bro.

btw, i sacrificed a/c for boost a decade ago.

i still would put some emphasis on getting some sort of fuel management. you say youre running forged pistons, which is better than stock ones without fuel management, but youre risking finding out how long it will run without tuning..

Totally agree, the fmu keeps AF ratio 13.9 to 14.6 when at operating temperature, cold start runs rich, and yes on the forged pistons weiscos.I am currently building a real power plant the only problem with that is The WIFE lol.New engine will be supercharged, Easy way too keep ac, plus much cleaner look need to get more pieces to the puzzle, I guess its how deep are your pockets and the knowledge to do yourself!

fyi, that AFR with that compression ratio is recipe for disaster.

must be keeping it richer than 14:1 then, because anything leaner than that is starting to get risky..

Found faulty wideban o2.ordered new one , but from the numbers Im guessing 8to11 to 1.I let you know what new o2 reads. Thanks for your input any recommendations on decent cheater slicks

Yea the target number under full load should be around 11.1 to 12.5 to 1, means rich but not washing out, but at steady cruse should be around 13 to 13.6 and at idle as close to 14 as possible. You stated you use no o2 , whats your feedback on data.
