Hi I'm Angela and I'm a Honda Addict! (Lol) I have a 2002 Honda Civic Si Vtec 2.0 hatchback. I bought it used in 2014 with 250k on the odometer and she now has over 300k on her but she isn't doing very good. I'm throwing so many codes of 1298 1167 1166 141 301 302 303 304 o2 sensor something something bank 2 I've changed coil packs and 2 of the plugs.. the (shadetree mechanic) I use that term loosely.. the mechanic word lol said he couldn't get two of them cause they was rounded out .. left to go get a tool to grab them and never came back lol. Anyway I have a tool I ordered myself but I'm afraid to change them my self cause nothing ever goes right for me. So I don't want to mess it up worse. Oh she is also going into anti-theft mode. Gets where if I shut her off when I go to crank her she coughs spits sputters and dies and trust me that's a wrap. We fidna sit here for a minute. But my front end bopping and a squeekin.. I love my Honda I just want to get her right. She use to fly like a G6 and now if I tack up to 4k rpms oh she shuts down like bam like I hit a brick wall until I get off that 4k .. tonight I was just trying to accelerate to take off to come home and she started backfiring. I seen where someone said that it could be fuel pump going out but I'm just a girl .. how would I know what is going out other than that computer box telling me the codes .. help .
