NewB from Central IL
Hello All! I've recently come back in to the Honda game although I still keep one foot in VW territory. I once had a 97 Ej6 with a Domani front end and B16a2 swap.. After a long time of messing with what from the beginning was a hopeless engine swap (due to getting a bogus motor) I began to grow tired of it, Bought a truck and after about a year sold the car and all the work to a young girl for only a measly 2500 bucks here was the car.

After a few years of reflecting and wanting to get back in to the car came I Bought a '11 MK6 VW Gti. And fell in love however the parts for it are very expensive and it got my mind back in the days when things were simple.. if i only had put a K20 in it maybe id still have it.. well a few months later i got a text from a buddy asking if i was still looking for a project car and he told me he had a friend with a 98 EJ8 for sale.. I immediately jumped at the offer esp since its was only 750 dollars. Only catch is the transmission is bad however me being always one to plan for the least likely of future events, Still had my d series transmission from my 97 Ej6 sitting in the garage. So here it is.. It def needs work but .. I was thinking a Sharpie car??

Gitrekt? looks like its already been "reckt"

Im thinking that D series has to go...
Im glad to be back in the Honda life once again and hope this car evolves in to something that i put a piece of me in (i don't mean intercourse with the exhaust).Honda Tech was a great resource for my first swap and now that its 10 years later hopefully it will be once again for a K series!.

If you were to park your cars out in the open like that in Texas, they would be stolen by the next day.
