Hey new around here, I own a 2005 Honda Civic LX w/ D17 Fuel Eff Engine, and I've been thinking about doing a H22 Swap on it instead of a K24A1 or A2, but the car itself might not be suitable , the engine has issues (mostly bad blow-by but not bad enough to kill it yet), it automatic ofc, So i was going to buy a H22 that comes with a LSD transmission and go from there. My budget is 12K, so i was thinking of buying a 2001-2005 civic or a 94 and up hatchback manual ofc, and from there I could take my time and still have a daily to get around, just looking for people's input on how hard it would be to add a clutch pedal and wire everything up if I did it on my automatic 05 Civic, instead of buying a new car.

- Thanks in advance.

welcome,

For $12K, just find yourself a 2012 k24 civic SI? Zero work and it's not a 2005 civic LX!
