Default New to Hondatech

Hello everyone one, name is luis I’m from Utah and I’m here to learn,buy and sell parts from Honda’s
I currently drive a dc2 with a fully built gsr, I’m experiencing some issues wit it but that’s why I’m here to get help wit it. It smokes after replacing the head. Did a leak down test and it shows all the cylinders are at
1=10%
2=12%
3=10%
4=17%
the car runs good and everything but smokes. The smoke is blue. Any suggestions on what it can be?

Straight from google:

The most common cause of blue exhaust smokeis oil leaking past engine seals and into the cylinders where it then mixes and burns with the fuel. ... Blue exhaust smoke only at start-up can indicate worn piston seals or damaged or worn valve guides which may also cause a rattling noise

Leak-down testing is a static test. Leak-down tests cylinder leakage paths. Leak-down primarily tests pistons and rings, seated valve sealing, and the head gasket. Leak-down will not show valve timing and movement problems, or piston movement related sealing problems.

Based on what you stated. it sounds like a sealing problem internally.

i hope this helps.
