Default New and dont know much. :scared:

hello HT,

Names Josh, or just automaticadam, which is ironic because i drive a 5 speed 03' civic coupe. I am not much of the mechanic but i have always been very interested in cars Though i drive an import and want to make my car look lovely i would like to say my heart still belongs to american muscle. Anyways i am really here for questions and guidance for my build. my coupe is fully stock, body isn't bad few dents and scratches here and there but is still a very solid car with relatively no problems. First item on my list would be a new radio, because i get a discount for my brother works at best buy, next i was thinking a new intake? unless you have objections? thank you in advance

Hello Automaticdam I'm new as well! i just red your post and i do have to say I am disappointed in that your heart does not truly want a import but ill be ok for now, i have done a little thing here and there to my 02 Honda accord 2dr and i currently have a intake coming in the mail as i speak. I have heard good and bad things about intakes but overall i dont think you can go wrong if you have the cash. A buddy of mine is real knowledgeable when it comes to good quality car parts and he told me to buy AEM. also i live in WI so lots of rain here and puddles so told me not to get a cold air (also more expensive) and to go with a Short Ram Air Intake. i got a blue polished one and think ill be very happy with it when i get it! (crosses fingers hoping it comes today) Hope you enjoy this forum it seems to be very useful for info and questions

hey there Restless101, thanks for the advice. lol i do love a beautiful import but there is just something raw and uncut about a 69' Nova SS.. just saying. lol but yeah i'll look into the SRA or the COA intakes and see which one would be best. gluck on your purchase and i hope it works out for you. i plan on using this website/forum to the fullest, until next time....
