Chevrille
Hey guys, my name's Chevrille, but you can call me Chevy.
My car is a 92 Toyota Paseo, but I'm selling it tomorrow and then buying my neighbor's 93 Del Sol. It's a manual of course and it's been painted with Pontiac's Aztek Green which... surprisingly, doesn't look bad at all. In fact, I adore it. It's in great shape and he's selling it to me for only $1000 since he's known me since I was small and I've always been interested in his cars. It's awesome. It runs and isn't at all trashed. Just needs to be cleaned up and perhaps get new seats. It has Prelude springs in the back so it sits a little higher, but once I get the proper shocks he's going to help me get it back to normal(though honestly I kinda like the high-sitting back end so I dunno). He's willing to give me all these parts and work on it for free so... it's a total steal to buy this car. I can't not do it; I've been eyeballing it for about five years. Yay! It has a custom exhaust on it but it's not earblowingly loud so I like that. One fuel injector is a little too big so it won't pass emissions, but he has the correct fuel injector that he's willing to put on for me.
There isn't much you can do with a Paseo, but it's a whole different story for a Del Sol. I can't wait to learn on it. It's going to be a blast. Pics as soon as I buy it tomorrow!
Enough about my cars. To introduce myself, I'm turning 18 next month and I live in Nashville. Art, music, and cars are my passions. My favorite bands include Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pink Floyd, Airborne Toxic Event and Led Zeppelin, but I love a lot of trip-hop like Saltillo, and other more gentle things like Phantogram and Friendly Fires. I can find something to like in just about any genre. I love sharing music with people!
Oh, I like animals a lot too - foxes and cuttlefish are my favorite. I have a pet dog, he's a pomeranian. I have a pet rat named Cipher, also. He's what you see in my avatar. I love my pets. I like plants too, I have a bonsai tree and a cactus and I'm soon getting a venus flytrap.
I'm pretty odd and I like odd things. I collect "dead things" - I have a few animal skulls, tails, and a preserved snake. I think it's nice to preserve nature's beauty as opposed to letting everything rot in the ground.
My favorite colors are grey and red and my favorite food is Mexican food. Art wise, I do a little of everything - drawing, painting, digital art, graphic art, design, web design, sculpting, and I'm learning to work with glass. I have a drive to dip into everything creative that I possibly can - I want to learn so many things. I truly, truly love what I do.
That said, I can't wait to get my hands dirty with this Del Sol, and I can't wait to be a part of this community. I'm excited for everything I'm about to learn here. Thanks for taking a little time to get to know me c:
