Names Paul, from NW Washington. Bought this 91 EF Hatch so my buddies and I can build it for Lemons racing. Looking to build it up and then participate in the fall 2025 race.

Re: Member Introductions
Allô, I purchased a second 05 Honda Civic LX sedan, I want to do a lot of DIY work on it so I decided to join the forums.
So far I have been able to find a lot of answers surprisingly. So, moving forward you'll probably see my username on here asking small questions.
obviously unless someone has already had the same issue, because we are really all just the same. :D

My 1990 CRX Si had the B16 swapped for a "lemons" 1992 civic Si engine w/maybe 100k on it.
If you are a utuber, check out a couple pages:

Scottie Kilmer
Rainman Ray's
I've learned alot from these channels.

Re: Member Introductions
Hi, I've been searching through Honda-tech for tips but never really registered till now. I have 530ish positive feedback on eBay 100% and have a verified PayPal account for year's without any issue. I just want to introduce myself and hopefully I can find useful things here.

Hi fellow Honda people. My name is David. I live near Chattanooga TN. I was gifted a 1st Gen Honda CR-V 5-speed several years ago. I don't have a good picture. She has been sitting for 3 years with a burned valve. Now I know about the necessity for frequent valve adjustments on this engine. I've finally tackled the repair myself and am in process of putting the ol girl back together. Looking forward to searching the forums, contributing where I can and probably asking some elementary questions regarding if I messed something up or not.

Re: Member Introductions
Hey guys, i guess it would be right to introduce myself.
My name is Bryan, I live in South East Indiana. Ive been on this site about 14 years ago ( I believe ). I use to have a 99 Ex (D16Y8), and i absolutely loved it! That's definitely the car that got me into Hondas.
I'm back for another round of Hondas now lol. I am currently build a VW dune buggy, im actually building it for road use. I was looking into getting a D16Z6 motor, more dependable than the Y8 ( in my opinion ) and more reliable when it comes to boost (of course in moderation ) i plan to do headstuds, gaskets, etc, and tune for 5 psi or so.
Originally i was thinking of getting a Y8 but then i considered boosting it as well. Im not looking to get 250 whp, i plan to make it a just overall nice, quick, cart like vehicle.
that's where im at thus far! Glad to be apart of the forums.

Re: Member Introductions
Hi I'm Kristi. I own a 2003 Honda Civic LX sedan.
My daughter gave it to me about 2 months ago. WOW do I have a hand full with it.
1st transmission is not going to 1st gear on take off. Research: try shift solenoid before whole tranny.
2. Motor mounts very bad.
I'm supposed to do all the mounts at the same time!?! Research: transmission mount added to mounts to replace??
I think I need everyone's help.
RockAuto: can I just purchase the kits for motor and tranny mounts?
I'm glad I found this site.
