Re: Member Introductions
Hello everybody.
I worked in the shop at a Honda car dealership for 10 years so, I know my way around most Honda vehicles and won't be asking too many questions. However, having been away from it for awhile, I've forgotten some things. I never bothered buying a repair manual because we always had access to all the info we needed via the website.
Now, I find myself doing my own repairs and/or upgrades.
I currently own a 2000 C-RV SE with a measly 92K miles on it. It was a trade in from a little old lady (it only had 66K miles at that time) who bought it new in 1999. Once saw the low mileage and great shape it was in, I had to have it.
This was my first Honda.

Hello! I just bought an oldie but goodie, 1993 Civic CX D15B8 with just under 200k miles on it. My first car ever was a 1997 Civic DX. That was a little over 15 years ago now, but I'm over 40! (I started driving late). My new-to-me CX is a good old car, but it's going to need a little love to keep it going. I bought it knowing that the clutch is going, it has some superficial rust, and the steering pulls to the right. I discovered that the rust is *slightly* more extensive than I saw at first and the left front CV boot is split and the joint is starting to talk to me to complain about turning sharply. On my first fill up it looked like I was getting only about 32 MPG, but I changed the oil and my most recent one was over 43 MPG. That's more like it. I really appreciate what little I've seen of Honda-Tech so far. A friend who is on 8th Civic suggested that I join you guys, so here I am.

Re: Member Introductions
I am a solid noob when it comes to imports and even front wheel drive cars for that matter. But im not such a noob at turning wrenches and moding cars. Ive just had my head in american muscle since i was old enough to be able to. Then one day fairly recently i drove a buddys honda. It was actually ALOT of fun. Then he told me he was getting high 20 to low 30 mpg. Blew my mind and caught my attention. So now i find myself here. Forums helped me through alot of builds. Any gearhead knows anything can and usually will happen that youve never seen before. So i hope i can turn to you guys for any assistance or queations i have on my very first import build. Bought a running (quite well) 1996 civic dx hatchback for $300. Then i found what i thought wss a good deal: brand new b18b1 with the wiring harness, tranny, and garrett turbo for $550. Should be an easy first. Thanks in advance for the help.

Hello all I'm Kyle this is my 96 accord it is my first Honda that I have done any modifications to and I figured what better way to learn more about Honda modifications than to join the Honda community. Current mods are headlights, taillights, header, and exhaust. (You know the basic stuff)

Hello Everyone!
Been a Honda owner all of my life and have searched the threads here for a long time. Currently have a 1997 Del Sol Vtec. Blew the motor back in I believe 2005 ish proved the theory that water does not compress! Dropped a 1997 JDM B18C in back then running full OBD2 with a California BAR sticker. Have all the bolt ons I/M/H/E and she is fun. Now I want to go turbo and will be looking for advice from fellow Del Sol owners in that area (would love to keep the AC). I am finally at a point in my life where I can fully finish this car up all the way and would love to share ideas with everyone on engine, interior and body. Look forward meeting everyone here and I can also help a lot of people with technical questions other then tuning I am a very experienced mechanic.

Hey guys, I'm 22 and I've never done anything like this build I'm just starting. I'm putting a J35Y4 into a 1990 CRX HF. Currently I have the car stripped and washed with a pressure washer. I just put new sparco wheels and tires on it to get me through the build before I invest in some drag wheels. This should be fun. I look forward to being a part of this group.
J35Y4
1990 Honda CRX HF
Just enough to roll in and out of the garage and get me through a couple test runs. For the initial tuning.

Decided to join after fixing a few things on my *see nick*, such as the power window on the driver's side (pretty easy), and the auto lock on the passenger side (my knuckles). Looking for other items to fix on my accord, especially fixing/hacking the navi and looking for suggestions on the front brakes.

Hey guys lurking for many months now. Always been a fan of Honda and their great work. Mechanically inclined but no professional. Just recently bought a 94 Civic EJ1 CANADIAN not sure if that's bad it not. It's got a d16z6 in it all stock except for the cold air intake.

Hello, Robert from Florida. Just bought a new 2017 Honda Accord Sport CVT with Sensing. Have driven 2004 Volvo S60R 6MT for last 14 years and 158K miles. It's starting to age so picked up the Accord as a daily driver. Hopefully getting M3 for Christmas 2019 then giving Accord to the wife. Until then hope to have a little fun learning Honda tech, and this forum seems like a good place to hang.

Hello all
My name is Todd and I wanted to formally introduce myself. I have a 1995 Honda Civic VX Hatch. I've been driving her for 22 years! LOL, yes new! I have seen and read the forum before, but I never joined and thought I would change that. I know that I will have many questions and I hope that I can help as well. Cheers.

Greetings. I'm 2003 Odyssey and 2009 Civic owner who loves his Honda's and does most of his own work, although the best thing about Honda's is they don't actually need a lot of work.
