Re: Member Introductions
hello everyone! im not new to the honda game, but decided to join because of the fact that this is the sight i researched some of my troubleshooting. I've built two civics (trial and error cars lol) 94 jdm h22 accord, and had a s2000 for a little while. I recently picked up a 91 si rex and then traded for a 96 lx accord with my best bud. this summer we plan on overhauling side by side in the driveway. my plan for the accord is slamming in the h23 vtec from the 2000 accord wagon. im not sure what his plans are at the moment, but i think he is going with a full restoration. thanks for the years of advice and to give back ill post my progress.

Greetings from Romania,
I was seeking for a Suzuki Grand Vitara and I ended up buying a Honda CRV RD1 /2000 with only 90.000 km. Despite has no chassis, no real 4x4 (i.e. locking differential, transfer box…), after I drove it I feel it is what I was looking for. Got new tires General Grabber AT2 205/75R15. I’m still thinking about a set of Dobinson springs (+30 mm) with the original shock absorbers and metallic shield to protect the engine bay.

Re: Member Introductions
Looks like a Romanian attack around here these days
John (Ionutz) from Bucharest - Romania. I do not own a Honda (yet), but just started to build a Civic TypeR EP3 for a buddy competing in our National Hillclimb Championship. Found you via google searching for info about the rollcage (I think it would be Sparco 1-A).

What up Honda-Tech! Just became a Honda owner this week to a 1993 Accord Lx. It runs good, shifts good...but it does have i few issues. So with that said, I'm looking forward to doing lots of research on here.

Hey all, I'm Will from Cali, working on two EF sedans, one a canyon runner the other just for looks, also building a 2014 lancer GT and a sailboat so I'm a fairly busy guy but I look forward to learning more from you guys(and gals) and maybe help out someone here myself, I'm a fabricator and an owner/operator by trade and not new to Hondas or motor sports. Did the drifting thing before it was big, a little autoX, some drag, and A LOT of canyon driving, drift and grip. Hope to see you out there sometime!

Hi everyone! I'm Bryan. Proud owner of a bright red 2 door 5 speed 2009 civic. Best car I've ever owned! I can't wait to post in threads! I am currently going through clutch pressure problems. It's slowly over time becoming very easy to floor the clutch. There's resistance but not as much as when I bought the car used. I have lubricated for the past two years so it might be gumming up and this could be why resistance is lower than normal. I had my mechanic bleed the line and replace the dot3 with dot4. The slave cylinder is not leaking, he said the clutch is fully operational and working great, but I think my master cylinder needs replacement. I have had to lubricate the push rod do to excessive creaking. I believe its on its way out so I will replace it very soon. He found no leaks so this is the only thing I can think of that might need to be done. I've heard that Honda's are prone to this. Hopefully I fit right in here at Honda Tech Any suggestions for my problem would be appreciated!

Hello, my name is slicrick I am from Canada. I have a 99 Acura EL (MB4) with a B16A2 and some other suspension stuff. I lurked Honda-Tech for a little while but have decided to join so I can post and maybe ask some questions, I am looking to learn how to DIY some more things as I only know the basics right now. Looking forward to spending some more time on HT as there is quite a wide range of people and cars, and such great DIY guides along with information about nearly any and everything.

Hey, my name is Jack. I am an apprentice mechanic and I have just purchased my first Honda. It's a 1998 CRV LX AWD in royal blue. Picked it up for $1200 and am going to give it the care it's needed for the past few years. My daily driver for the past few years has been a 1998 Chevy K1500 Silverado, and I have been needing a second vehicle better on gas, but also with lots of room and AWD.

..had this Teg for a couple years and have done a little work, nothing serious yet. It hasn't needed much, but had hail damage. Got it for $500 and have now about $2500 into. I got it at 145k, it's now 165k.
before: Except for the broken windshield had been replaced.
..and after:
Nearly the only option. VIS, doesn't fit as well as I'd like.
