I'm a 50 something Civic Mk9 2.2 Dtec owner, have been very happy with my car for the last 5 years until recently. It has now started to develop a few issues.

It has done 110K miles and I got a lot of warning lights and a drop in to limp mode on a recent long drive. Left it for a few hours and when I came back limp mode had cancelled but Engine management light was still amber, driving home this also cured itself, no problems with that ever since but now by boot (trunk) won't open i think I can hear it unlocking and I have lowered the rear seat and removed the inspection hatch, I am able to open the boot by sliding the plastic across with a screwdriver, there is very little resistance so I think the switch is at fault but I cannot get to it.
